- Modicon Edge I/O NTS is our new future ready unified distributed I/O platform, replacing three previous platforms (Modicon STB, TM5, Momentum I/O). It is tightly integrated into EcoStruxure Control Expert, Machine Expert and Automation Expert, but can also be used with non-SE processors over Ethernet/IP or Modbus TCP.
- Modicon Edge I/O NTS is very robust with standard and harsh options, extended temperature and conformal coating, and is compliant with arduous railway standards (certification pending).
- With a wide variety of slices it is scalable to provide answers for the simplest to most demanding of machine and plant applications. All modules are hot-swapable and can be incorporated into high availability architectures. An inbuilt webserver enables diagnostics, configuration and commissioning without the need for the PLC controller to be connected. Modicon Edge I/O NTS is Cybersecure by design, offering a wide range of security features compliant with IEC62443-4-1, IEC62443-4-2.
