Our colleagues were doing their thing, adorned in Santa hats and tinsel, spreading seasonal cheer to all who entered. Little did they know that this day would become legend in the annals of holiday history – the day BPX Manchester saved Christmas.
The telephone rang amongst the office clamour, and upon answering, a customer’s desperate plea echoed through the festive atmosphere. A Christmas tree farmer was in dire need of a crucial part for his netting machine, which had unexpectedly broken down. The specific part needed was a Telemecanique Sensors limit switch body (Part No. ZCKS1H29). With 2000 trees awaiting preparation for their journey the next day, time was of the essence.
BPX Manchester – Ready for Action
Our helpful team at BPX Manchester sprang into action. Racing against the clock, they swiftly located the required part on their shelves and made arrangements for the customer to collect it without delay. The fate of the Christmas tree farm hung in the balance, and our BPX team was determined to ensure that the holiday spirit remained unscathed.
The Christmas tree farmer, armed with newfound hope and his netting machine in tow, sped along the M62 from Wooley Edge to our BPX Manchester branch. Upon arrival, he was greeted by our team of festive elves (disguised as BPX employees) who expedited the process of getting his machine set up with the crucial replacement part. With the repaired netting machine in tow, the Christmas tree farmer hurried back to his farm, ready to tackle the monumental task that lay ahead.
Christmas saved for Wooley Edge Christmas Tree Farm
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow on the holiday decorations within our Manchester branch, a sense of accomplishment filled the air. The news of their heroic efforts spread like wildfire, and soon the tale of BPX Manchester saving Christmas became a heart-warming story that echoed through the city and beyond.
