Anyone who has made a wiring change to a consumer or distribution box has likely encountered the problem of short cables. Sometimes, you need to make a small extension; other times, it’s necessary to repair or replace a section of cable. To help with this, WAGO introduces its PUSH WIRE® Inline Splicing Connector – a compact and easy-to-use cable splicing solution.

PUSH WIRE® Inline Cable Splicing Connector

The PUSH WIRE® is ideal for connecting conductors in the smallest of spaces, and there are many potential applications. It connects electrical conductors quickly, easily, and reliably, without the need for tools.

In the event of a repair, the connector can be used with a suitable shrink tube in flush-mounted applications, thanks to maintenance-free spring clamp technology. Its compact design also allows multiple inline splicing connectors to be arranged one behind the other to save space – making it an indispensable part of any toolbox.

Enough Space in the Distribution Box

The connector accommodates conductors from 0.75 to 4 mm² in very tight spaces, without the need for special tools. Simply strip the conductor and push it into the clamping point for a fast and secure connection. With a compact length of just 29 mm, it offers one of the quickest ways to repair damaged conductors in confined areas.

Its size also means the PUSH WIRE® Inline Splicing Connector fits neatly into any junction box, making wiring especially efficient in tight conditions.

The First-Aid Kit for Fast Cable Splicing

On a hectic day on site, it’s all too easy to accidentally drill into an installed cable. Fortunately, that’s no problem for the 2773 Series PUSH WIRE® Inline Splicing Connector – the swift troubleshooter for every situation. Cable repair is simple: cut the cable, attach the connector, slide the appropriate shrink tube over the rewired conductors, and shrink it into place. The connection is now safe and secure.

Cable Splicing Kits for Inaccessible Areas

Modern building technology places high demands on electrical connections – particularly regarding convenience, safety, reliability, and flexibility. This often presents challenges for electricians, especially when wiring is located in inaccessible areas such as flush-mounted boxes. Routine checks, adjustments, or repairs may not be possible.

Previously, only soldered or crimped connections – or special sleeve connections – were permissible in such areas. However, these methods were often complicated, error-prone, and time-consuming to install.
