BPX has significantly increased its stock holdings of key Omron automation products to help customers maintain project continuity and minimise supply chain disruption during Omron’s upcoming business systems upgrade.
As part of its transition to a new SAP S/4HANA platform, Omron will implement a temporary business freeze from the end of business on Friday 26th June 2026, until Monday 6th July 2026, when the new system officially goes live.
During this period, new orders for non-stocked products cannot be placed, changes to existing orders will not be possible, and delivery updates or tracking information may be limited.
To help customers navigate this transition with confidence, BPX has proactively invested in additional inventory across a wide range of popular Omron products, ensuring enhanced availability throughout the implementation period.
The increased stockholding forms part of BPX’s ongoing commitment to delivering reliable supply, expert support and uninterrupted service to customers operating in fast-paced industrial environments.
Customers with anticipated requirements for Omron products between mid-June and mid-July are encouraged to discuss their needs with their local BPX branch or dedicated Account Manager as early as possible, particularly for specialist or non-stocked items.
