Due to our continued success and growth we currently have a PHP Developer job vacancy working from our Head Office in Rothley, Leicestershire. We are looking for a bright, determined person to join our friendly team. This is a full-time, permanent position.
PHP Developer Job Role:
You will support the continuous development of bespoke in-house software systems, covering a wide-range of functions and operational areas.

Your main duties will include:
- Back-end code development
- Front-end interface development and design (HTML, CSS, JS)
- You will be required to create functional and technical specifications for your projects based on discussions with business stakeholders. Collaboratively plan and agree scope, deliverables and time-frames, obtain sign-off and ensure projects are delivered on-time, in full, with regular updates.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

- Strong understanding of writing API’s (REST, CRUD)
- Strong experience with version control systems (GitHub)
- Collaborative Project Management tool, such as ClickUp
- Able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the Laravel Framework and have examples of your work showing clear coding.
- Demonstrable examples of excellent UI and UX design
Must have relevant experience as pertains to main activities, tasks & duties:
- Minimum 3 years OOP PHP and MVC experience in Laravel framework, Nova beneficial
- LiveWire
- VUE.js / Alpine JS
- Tailwind CSS
- Strong MS SQL skills; table design & creation, CRUD operation / query writing
Desirable experience:
- Windows environment
- WordPress experience
- Server configuration, e.g. new versions of PHP, configuring .ini settings.
- Experience optimising website, e.g. using Lighthouse
- Feature/Unit test experience
