It provides local and remote access to predictive and preventive application data for diagnostics and maintenance, thus reducing unplanned downtime. TeSys island uses an object-oriented approach to simplify application selection and system configuration. It automates and reduces engineering tasks to enable faster machine installation phase. It manages motors and other loads up to 80A/37kW, and supports major automation fieldbuses like EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, and Profinet/Profibus. Moreover, it is fast to integrate into Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure Machine Expert.
The streamlined workflow comes through TeSys Island’s innovative load management system lets users build more effectively with an intuitive TeSys avatar library. The embedded Avatar logic in the TeSys island bus coupler also reduces PLC programming time. Function blocks in the EcoStruxure architecture provide faster integration including with other major automation maker’s PLCs.

TeSys island provides data that enables the end-user to make intelligent decisions ahead of time, thanks to pre-alarms that help reduce machine stoppages as well as machine downtime. Its close integration with EcoStruxure provides the makes information to both operators and management alike
By connecting TeSys island to the EcoStruxure Machine architecture, it is possible to track and increase system performance from remote locations and conduct maintenance outside operational hours. The EcoStruxure Machine Advisor dashboard displays energy consumption and other critical data and advanced diagnostics of issues.
Augmented Operator Advisor provides the operator or maintenance service with access to the live data of the machine while in operation. In addition, datasheets, tutorials, and other documents used during operation or maintenance are available on demand. Using the integrated Operation and Maintenance Tool (OMT) as a web server, commissioning, maintenance, diagnosis and troubleshooting is available.
