Last week, BPX witnessed a festive explosion of creativity as our colleagues embraced the spirit of the season for the BPXmas Christmas Outfit Day. Our branches and Rothley HQ were transformed into Lapland, with colleagues donning everything from classic Santa hats to innovative elf costumes. The atmosphere was full of laughter, surprise, and camaraderie.
SMT Team’s Grinchy Surprise
Even our Senior Management Team jumped on the Christmas Outfit bandwagon. Craig Johnstone’s Grinch costume, though somewhat unconventional, required a daring squeeze into his daughter’s pyjamas! The resulting ensemble had colleagues envisioning chestnuts roasting on an open fire. The SMT team’s spirited participation set the tone for a great day at BPX.
Our Branch Team’s Spellbinding Creativity
Our team at BPX Sunderland stole the show with their tremendous outfits. Our Irish crew, in particular, went above and beyond, using tinsel to spell out “bpx.ie” on their jumpers and introducing a surprise extra team member into the mix. Their dedication to detail and festive flair earned them well-deserved accolades, making them strong contenders for the top prize.
Admin Team’s Elf-tastic Coordination
Our Admin team, brilliant in their elf outfits, showcased impeccable coordination. However, a small penalty was imposed due to their role in organising the event. Despite this, their spirited participation added a touch of magic to the day, proving that even behind-the-scenes efforts can shine brightly.
And the winners are…
In a nail-biting finish, the three leading teams: Ireland, Sunderland, and Admin, ended in a dead heat, each earning a £100 Just Eat voucher. Special recognition and an additional £25 voucher each were awarded to Lisa Spearman, Nick Barker, and Adrian Davey, whose extraordinary festive costumes stole the spotlight on the day.
The BPXmas Christmas Outfit Day was a resounding success, raising money for the EIC, bringing joy, laughter, and a sense of community to our branches. The creativity and enthusiasm displayed by colleagues was extremely impressive. As we wrap up the year, let’s continue spreading the holiday cheer.
